96137 is reported in addition to 96136 for each further 30 minutes of provider test administration and scoring. It cannot be billed without 96136 for the same session.
Administration time is kept separate from evaluation time (96130–96133), and total documented administration time supports the number of add-on units. Technician administration uses 96138/96139 instead.
It fits longer test batteries administered and scored by the physician or QHP that run past the first half hour.
